Every day when watching the news, it can seem as though there’s a new disaster unfolding somewhere. Whether it’s a war, fire, flood, famine, shooting, or anything else there’s always something terrible happening somewhere to be worried about.
The key thing to remember is that for the media, disasters equal high ratings – the bigger the disaster, the higher the ratings. Disasters are how they make their money and they love them. As such, it’s easy to develop a highly skewed view of reality from just viewing the news.
For example, there may be a war occurring in one country which dominates the headlines with the latest atrocities committed, but there are hundreds of other countries that aren’t at war at the same time! When put into this kind of perspective, even the most troubled times don’t seem so dark.
It’s worth remembering that every disaster also has within it an opportunity, although that isn’t always clear at first. Over time, the bigger and broader picture becomes clear and those disasters that didn’t seem to make sense at the time later become clear.
As you go throughout the day, try to remember that keeping your faith isn’t supposed to be easy all the time. It’s the challenge that strengthens us as we grow through it.
There are many ways to be a better Christian in difficult times. One way is to find hope in the midst of despair and to do this, we must never lose faith. Another way is to look for God’s presence in the world and to remember that he is always with us.
The Bible says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” This means that no matter what happens, God will always be there for us.
In the midst of a war, it can be easy to lose faith in humanity. And when you’re a Christian who believes in God, it’s even more difficult to believe that things will get better.
In the Bible, Job is the perfect example of someone who lost faith in humanity after experiencing a devastating war. He lost his children and all of his possessions, but he still had faith that God would come through for him. Job knew that he couldn’t give up hope because God was always there with him through the good and bad times.
Job knew that while life may not be easy all of the time, there’s always hope as long as you have faith and trust in God.
There are many wars going on in the world, and it can be hard to keep faith that things will get better. It can feel like it’s never going to end, but you must have faith that things will get better.
The bible talks about a time when there was a war going on in the world, but God did not leave us alone. He gave us hope through his son Jesus Christ.
Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the one who brings peace and love to our lives. He is here for all of us, so we should never lose our faith that things will get better.
